APPLIED KINESIOLOGY BASIC COURSE (2019 / 2020)

A contemporary view to Applied Kinesiology integrating Functional Neurology and Psychoneuroimmunology with a new practical approach:

  • Fundamental AK concepts.
  • Step by step diagnosis and treatment tools in a holistic manner.
  • Advanced procedures from a functional neurology perspective.

The course is accredited by de International College of Applied Kinesiology.

MODULES

Module 1 – (26/27 Oct 2019)

Principles of AK. Normotonic, hypotonic and hypertonic muscles. Spinal subluxations, fixations. Challenges for extremities and local problems. Injury recall technique and scars. 

Module 2 – (30 Nov/1 Dec 2019)

Craniosacral mechanism and craniosacral faults. Pelvic categories. Dural torque tension. TMJ and teeth. Descending problems.

Module 3 – (14/15 Dec 2019)

Nutrition basics. Digestive system. Systemic inflammation and endocrine disorders. Emotional techniques.

Module 4 – (15/16 Feb 2020)

The electromagnetic system. Switching, acupuncture meridians, gait reflexes and much more. Emotional techniques related with meridian dysfunctions.

Module 5 – (21/22 Mar 2020)

Advanced nutrition. The brain and the immune system. Neurotransmitters, neuroinflammation. Testing for the different areas of the brain. Advanced cranial faults corrections.

*It is possible to attend individual modules, but the first one is mandatory if you have no prior Applied Kinesiology experience.

Jordi Gutierrez

Spanish Chiropractor, Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Neurology and Diplomate of the International Board of Applied Kinesiology. Also, he has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Sports Science. He currently holds the position of Module Leader of Neurology at the Barcelona College of Chiropractic and heads the NeuroQuiro practice in Barcelona as well.

Alan Jenkins

Alan Jenks

Canadian Chiropractor, Diplomate of the International Board of Applied Kinesiology and Diplomate of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition. He is Chair of the International Board of Examiners for ICAK. He currently works in Netherlands and is completing his PhD in Epidemiology.

Entry requirements: Doctors of Chiropractic, Doctors of Osteopathy, Physiotherapists with postgraduate training in Osteopathy, Medical Doctors and Chiropractic students. 

Lecture Hours: 6 hours each module

Practical Hours: 8 hours each module

Language: English. 

Timetable: Saturdays from 09:00 to 19:00 h. and Sundays from 09:00 to 14:00 h. 

Study material: All required study material, included within the price of the course, will be supplied upon attendance of individual tutoring modules.
